The Police of Brief Three Teenagers in the Case of the Depok Death Strike

The team rushed to catch up with the Limo Sub-District Police who succeeded in arresting a group of perpetrators who killed Gymnastiar (17 years), the victim of a brawl on Gandul Highway, Cinere District, Depok, West Java, on Friday, December 21 2018. Ironically, the perpetrators were still under age age.
Depok Kapolresta, Senior Commissioner Didik Sugiyarto, revealed the case of the brawl occurred at around 01.00 WIB. The trigger was suspected of misunderstanding and wanted to show the existence between groups.
"So, between these groups, it is a pact through social media. Now, they record it, they mock each other," he told reporters.
From that incident, one person died. The victim known as Gymnastiar, died after being hit by sharp objects on the head, thighs and hands.
"This victim was rushed to the hospital, but his life was not helped because of the severe injuries," Didik said.
For the incident, Didik also instructed his staff to act quickly, uncovering the case. As a result, there were three perpetrators who had been arrested from their hiding places in the Cinere area, Depok. The initials of the perpetrators were MH (16 years), BF (14 years) and Dk (19 years).
"Of the three perpetrators that we secured, two of them are still underage. The roles of each actor are different. Dk and MH are allegedly involved in slashing, while BF is suspected of participating in carrying a sharp weapon," he said.
Related to this, the investigator will ensnare the perpetrators in accordance with Article 170 junto 351 and junto 358 regarding beatings and this is applied to everyone who participates in the action.
"Junto 358 (participating) will be applied to those who participated in the fight even though they were not directly involved in the persecution but as long as they were in the brawl group, we would snare," Didik threatened.
Then, continued Didik, investigators will now reconstruct it to give a deterrent effect to the brawlers. "Therefore, we appeal to parents to monitor their children. Even if they only enter the group, the brawl will still be subject to Article 358 with a two-year threat."
Currently the police are still developing the case. Because, there were several other actors who were allegedly involved in the DPO search list. In addition, the police also confiscated evidence in the form of four machetes which were allegedly used by the perpetrators to kill the victims.
